Your teacher killed your Creativity

Creativity is the essence that pays greater dividends when applied to solve real life problems. It is said, by the time a Child is 2 years old, the Creativity of the Child is on par with the mind of an Inventor. Don’t believe us? Then get a toy and give it to a Child and look what he does. The very second day, the toy would be in pieces. According to Science, this is called, Deductive Learning. For only ripping into pieces you learn what goes in to make the toy to work.

The same reasoning was applied by Louis Chevrolet in bringing out the Chevy, the car for everybody. Story has it that, Mr. Chevrolet, bought a brand new Ford’s Model T, with all his life saving, and then took it to his garage and ripped it all open, then for the next succeeding months, Mr. Chevrolet, simply studied its combustion. For those around, Mr. Chevrolet had gone nuts by blowing off his life saving, but deep inside, Mr. Chevrolet knew that someday he would come out in flying colors. That was exactly what happened.

In 1929, Chevrolet sales blew Henry Ford’s Model T sales out of the competition.The same procedure was applied by Millionaires of the world, including, Mr. Bill Gates and Mr. Warren Buffet, just in a different way and context. Yet still if the same technique was applied at school, students will be yelled at for being so dumb and stupid.

Thus, the Child which had the IQ of a genius at birth, gradually learns to conform to expected standards. That which we call systematic programming, and at on stage reaches a state where the student is unable to perform any action, without defined Instructions.

It is imperative to understand that all of the great inventions that we see around were only possible because the Inventors thought outside the box. The present system of Education that we have has the agenda to satiate everybody’s demands.

Take for example the Darwin’s theory on Evolution which is being taught in our schools and that which out rightly claims that the DNA of Man and Ape merely differ by 2%.

But do you know that the Human genome contains approximately 3 Billion base pairs and even a 2 % of this number would amount to 60 Million. Now is this a small difference? Even the dumbest person deprived of all intelligence would say, “No”, yet the School system continues to hold on to these flawed theories. Mores so, if a student was to raise a question as to how such a difference can be neglected and a fallacy accepted ? The raised question would invite immediate scrutiny and a reprimand from the teacher and the eventual consequence, a grade F in the concern subject.

Garbage in is Garbage out

Thus, with screwed up thoughts a rigid curriculum is delivered. With every focus being on to obtain good grades. Thus, no matter whether right or wrong, the expectation is that the student ought to pass the system.

And when the student comes out, he or she carries the same flawed thinking forward. It is said, life doesn’t give you what you want, but merely gives you what you become off. Meaning, with all of these errors and flawed information acquired over time, the only thought that rests in is, find an employment and pass the seed on.

Thus none of the required attributes for creativity is latent in the student, and at end of the day, he or she merely thinks only to scrap through.

There are big Vision or Mission in the individuals mind and just like dead leaf floating at the mercy of the wind, they pass through life, without even leaving a trace for their once existence. Now do you understand why the 1% hold, 99 % of World’s wealth ?
