Save for the rainy day
You can never accumulate wealth if you are not in the Habit of saving. It is estimated in America, that out of every 1000 people starting off life at 25, with a decent job, 50 percent of them will not make to 60. Now of the remaining 50 percent, 48 percent of them will be dead broke, 1.5 percent will be independent and 0.5 percent will be rich.
Most pass through the best years chasing their passion instead of their dreams.Just walk in to any Night club, you will find the crowd to be mostly in the age group of 25-35, what the world calls as young adults.
They gorge themselves with liquor, cocktails and what not, and sleep their weekends away, wake up Monday morning, to the tunes of, “its another Manic Monday, and I want a Sunday, and let it be a drink day,…”
The Bible calls youth to be but a fleeting. “I was young just yesterday, and today, my head is all but grey, the world doesn’t want me anymore, for there is no place for the old, my kith and kin, they despise me, for there is no worth left in me, they tell me this too often, now I wait for the dawn to dusk, the sooner the better”-Rants from an Old folk.
Tell us sincerely, are you ever aware what life has in store for you? Let us tell you, no matter what your qualification is, if you don’t put your acts together now, life will mow you down.
Time and tide waits for no man
It is said, 20 years and a 20 dollar bill will seem to far and too much to a young man as to a little kid. But little do they know, within a winkle of an eye, they fly.
So, start saving today. We know it is tough when you are young, with so many friends around and so many things to do, but just get this straight, tomorrow, when the Law of Employment sets its balls at you, you would no longer be able to find or be engaged in any gainful employment.
They only want the Young and the Youthful
Why would it be that way? We don’t know, but what we know is this, the World of employment, only prefers the Young and Youthful. The minute you touch your 40’s, the clock is already ticking. And in case of a slip, no company or agency would even open their front office doors for you to solicit inquiry.
We know it is hard, but we are merely telling you the way this life operates. In brevity, there is no second chance. The world of job loss-illustrations are filled with countless such cases of men and women who were at the peak of their stardom, yet failed to capitalize their position and fell right into the pit called, shame, poverty, and humiliation.
Why? Simply because when they had every thing going right for them, they just did not think of the much important trait, Saving.
